Thesis and counter-thesis
Popular macro narratives about crypto are theses, not facts. Each one appears here in the same format and is attributed to the people who put it forward. WhatTheChain does not adopt any of them.

The format of every thesis
- What the thesis claims, and who put it forward
- The mechanism it assumes
- The data that support it
- The data and counter-theses that contradict it
- What would change the view, and what follows for the properties of the assets concerned
A page that shows only one side argues a case; a page that shows both is a reference.
